A bit about us…
We are a small group of mums and dads, who in our spare time organise fund raising events to raise money to buy the things that the school budget just can’t stretch to, items that are needed for our children’s education and of course some fun bits too.
We do many things to raise money
– Charity Ball
– Christmas Bazaar
– Circus Events
– Coffee Mornings (which raises money for other worthwhile charities)
– Fireworks Display (Junior School PTA event)
– Quiz Nights
– Summer Fun Day
We fund classroom resources, computer equipment, visiting workshops, theatre and drama groups all of which make learning more fun for your children. Parent’s help is vital in keeping the PTA running and helping us to raise money for the school.
We often need help with:
– Obtaining raffle prizes
– Manning a stall at the Summer Fun Day/Christmas Bazaar
– Selling firework tickets
– Wrapping Christmas presents
– Approaching local businesses for advertising
The AGM is a friendly and informal event so come along and see what we do.
If you are interested in joining the PTA committee then please either attend the meeting or contact Caroline Allen-Monaghan (caroline.allen-monaghan@kirkland.com) or Vicky Dugdale (vixter.x@gmail.com) for more information.
