THANK YOU to everyone who supported the PFA in 2022/2023 by volunteering, donating time, items or money, paying for events, sponsoring, attending and just generally ensuring all of our events and fundraising endeavours have been as successful as they have. We have had a fantastic year, and raised a huge amount of money. The biggest events were the Fireworks, Rob Smiths fantastic marathon, and the summer fete but to be honest, we really feel like every event we’ve put on has been thoroughly worthwhile and most importantly, enjoyed by the children. Even the ridiculous July weather couldn’t put a dampener on the Summer Fete with lots of people commenting on the fantastic atmosphere. 

In terms of spending, we feel so grateful to have been able to support the school with some of their requests – we’ve bought items for the Juniors OPAL scheme, purchased some audio visual equipment that will elevate the Junior School productions, and paid for classroom resources and equipment. We’ve also managed to put on our regular offerings – the year 2 leavers disco, the year 6 leavers hoodies, Christmas parties, and the infant school pantomime. We are delighted that we achieved our goal and raised enough to meet the amount we pledged to contribute towards the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) which will be installed very soon and will be such a fantastic resource for all the children to use.
