By purchasing tickets for the USPFA Colour Run 2026, you agree to the terms of the below waiver.
All children must be in the care of a responsible person over the age of 18 in order to participate. This adult does not have to partake in the colour run, but must be present on site for the duration. Preschoolers MUST have a paying adult running with them.
I am aged 18 or over and give permission for myself/my child to participate in the USPFA colour run 2026. I have responsibility for the individuals named on my ticket purchase and agree to remain on site for the duration of their colour run.
I agree that I am responsible for my childs behaviour at all times and will ensure they abide by the safety rules set out.
I understand that there is a small element of risk involved in this activity – coloured powder will be thrown at and around all run participants during the event and that there is an area where participants can throw the powder at each other – this element is not compulsory.
I understand that the powder is provided by a registered UK company specialising in colour run events and that the powder is not harmful to humans, animals or plant life.
I understand that I can request full ingredient lists from USPFA in advance of the event.
I agree that myself/my child(ren) will wear any safety equipment outlined by USPFA to take part. In accordance with the safety instructions and risk assessment, all participants must wear protective eyewear. For under 16’s the eyewear must be goggles. For adults, it can be goggles, sunglasses or prescription eyewear.
I understand that failure to wear protective eyewear will result in participation in this event being denied and no refunds will be given.
I agree to provide suitable clothing for all participants to wear. I understand that the powder may permanently dye any clothing and therefore take full responsibility for the clothes myself/my child(ren) wear to this event.
I confirm that all participants named on my ticket purchase are in good physical condition, with no medical impairments that may prevent me/them from participating in this event. If i have any concerns, I will seek advise from a doctor prior to the activity starting and inform USPFA.
I acknowledge that participating in this event may be physically demanding and that there are risks of injury. I agree to take all reasonable steps to prevent injury and to ensure my own safety as well as the safety of others.
All ticket sales are final and no refunds will be given. USPFA will of course endeavour to help in any cases of unforeseen circumstances.
In the event of bad weather, a decision will be made regarding whether to go ahead or not. Any decision is at the organisers and schools discretion.
I hereby indemnify Upminster Infant School, Upminster Junior School, and Upminster Schools Parents and Friends Association against all claims made by any other person against them in respect of any injury, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with my failure to comply with the safety instructions and/or directions given by event organisers or school staff.
I understand that only the powder provided by USPFA colour run can be used – anyone found to be bringing their own colour powder on to site will be asked to leave and no refund given.
Powder can only be used in the designated zones which are clearly marked.
I acknowledge that I have read, fully understood and agree with all of the above prior to the purchase of tickets.
I understand that failure to complete this waiver and/or failure to agree with each statement means I cannot participate in this event.
