It’s back! After our hugely successful first ever COLOUR RUN last year, we’re bringing it back and its even bigger. All the info you need in advance of tickets going on sale is below:
When: Saturday 13th June 2026– 1pm-3pm
Where: The schools playing fields – go through the Crumpled Horn Entrance
Who: Everyone! Running as a family is encouraged – particularly if you have little ones, but kids can run alone/with friends. A responsible adult MUST stay on site for the duration. Any preschool child must have a paying adult running with them.
What: A colour run is a fun run (or walk!), around the school field, during which runners will run through various colour stations where coloured powder is thrown at them. By the end of the event runners will be walking rainbows, covered in multi coloured powder and some wonderful memories will be made – as well as vital funds raised for the schools. As last year, there will be 6 running waves – 1pm, 1.20pm, 1.40pm, 2pm, 2.20pm, and 2.40pm, so if you want to run with friends, it would be good to discuss this asap. We have increased the number of runners per wave so hopefully everyone will get their time of choice.
Need to know:
- EVERY participant under the age of 16 MUST wear appropriate eye protection. We suggest goggles (either swimming goggles, a snorkelling type mask, or science goggles). Age 16+ you must wear eye protection, but it’s up to you if you choose to wear sunglasses. You will not be permitted to take part without eye protection, and there will be no refunds given for non participation.
- EVERY participant will have to confirm they have read the waiver on our website before purchasing tickets. This year you cannot purchase tickets without confirming you’ve read the waiver for all participants on your booking so please make sure you do!
- Whilst the coloured powder washes off skin easily, it is extremely likely to stain clothing. It will show up best on white or black clothing but it is strongly advised that runners wear old clothing to participate.
- The powder used is provided by a reputable company specialising in colour runs in the UK. It is not harmful to people, animals or plant life. We will be able to provide ingredient and allergen details to anyone who requires this information – please contact hello@uspfa.co.uk to request this.
